Your questions answered.

Hello, thank you for visiting us. We’ve put together a comprehensive list of our most asked questions.

  • We do not offer group Reformer classes.

We have 3 Reformers in our home studio. We offer Reformer as part of our private training sessions.

  • Your first sessions is where we get to know each other. I’ll take you through a basic session, introduce you to the Pilates equipment and ask a few questions regarding your past injuries and goals.

  • Each private session runs for 55-60 minutes.

  • If you are in your 1st trimester you can attend any of our group classes. If you are in your 2nd or 3rd trimester we offer Private Studio training so that we can customise a program specifically to you and your little ones needs.

  • Once to twice a week is ideal. Like with anything, if we stay consistent we see results.

  • Absolutely. I’ll tailor a program specific to you and your goals.

  • We have a 12 hour cancellation policy for private sessions.

To avoid losing your full payment please cancel prior to your session.

  • I use the full Pilates system which includes the mat, Reformer, Cadillac (this is not a car!), barrels and chair. You’ll also use small props such as the magic circle, hand weights and the exercise band.

  • If you are recovering from injury and need support, if you have an injury that wont go away, or you prefer to train on your own - then private Pilates is for you. Private Pilates is customised to you and for you. Group classes are designed for generally healthy bodies where modifications are less needed.

  • Pilates isn’t claimable through health insurance or Medicare. If you'd like to use Private Health I recommend you contact your local Physiotherapist.

  • Yes, we recommend you attend Private Studio Pilates to assist with injury rehab and prevention of future injuries - once you have recovered from your injury we recommend you move into group classes.

  • Pilates has been proven to be the most effective treatment for lower back pain.

If you have chronic lower back pain we recommend that you begin with private sessions before attending group classes.

  • I teach privates mostly during the day. Feel free to reach out to me for my schedule to see if I have a time that suits you.

  • Yes, you must attend an Initial Consultation (IC) prior to attending any of our private sessions or private small group training sessions.

The IC is vital for us to get to know each other and for the perfect program to be written for you.
